CALIFORNIA FOCUS / EVENT RECAP: 2nd Annual FantaSea: Where Magic Lives at The Queen Mary

Magic is known as a visual art.

Pick a card any card and don’t let me see it…

It was an extra special evening spent on The Queen Mary for “Fantasea Where Magic Lives” event that was held April 8th.

Walking through the Enchanted Corridor on the Promenade Deck we felt the magic in the atmosphere. We first made a stop at the “Super Cool Creamery.” Watching the Taste Technicians create our flavor Ice cream was as much fun to watch as it was to eat.

The Secret Circle Study that was held in the Victoria Room where there was Close-up Magic left us wondering how the heck did he do that? Next, we visited Wizard Alley in the Royal Wedding Chapel where we got our Tarot Card Reading which was a fun and exciting experience.

We ended our evening with the Night of Illusions featuring Derek Hughes, Christopher Hart, David and Leeman. (Fact: While recording the show with our Canon EOS 80D camera, every time a magician was doing magic our camera would totally lose focus into a blur. I’m thinking it was because we were on The Queen Mary which is known to be a haunted ship.)

This was a mind-blowing magic show that involved much of the crowd. Which brought such entertainment with illusion and lots of laughter.

With full bars and food concessions we had so much fun. This was an experience that left us in awe. We had smiles the whole way home and are still asking each other how did they do that!
