Rising Country music singer-songwriter LIDDY CLARK announced her highly anticipated debut EP TESTING THE WATERS available across streaming platforms on July 27. Adding to the excitement, Clark has released her rendition of a timeless classic, “I Hope You Dance." “I’m so excited to finally release these songs. I’ve had them in my pocket for a while and everyone always asked about them at live shows. It’s great to finally share with the world some of the most important songs I’ve written so far.”
Meet Liddy Clark
Liddy Clark is a singer/songwriter who delivers a beautifully nuanced, indie-pop-inspired take on country music. With her powerful vocals and radiant stage presence, the 20- year-old artist has performed at iconic venues like the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, opened for artists like Scotty McCreery, Joe Nichols and private VIP rooms for Chris Stapleton, Jake Owen, and amassed a passionate fan base that includes more than 500K social media followers. Born in Plano, Texas, Clarkgrew up in Parkland, Florida, and has honed her stunning vocal command since she was a young age. With songwriting running in her family—her cousin Drew Womack authored Kenny Chesney’s #1 smash “She’s Got It All”—she started penning her own songs at 13 and soon earned support from major outlets like Radio Disney Country and iHeart Radio who recently named her iHeartRadio Digital Artist of the Month. Now a sophomore at the University of Southern California—where she’s a dean’s list student at the Thornton School of Music—Clark brings real-life detail to all her songs, with an ultimate mission of building a deep connection to all her listeners.
