Do you hate those dreaded "Back To School" sales as much as we do? That's probably because, like us, the schools you went to didn't have classes on divining the dead, carving pumpkins, Halloween costuming, horror floral arrangements, making haunt props, or really, anything cool. So we've set out to fix this, by making sure Midsummer Scream has the summer school experience you always wanted!

All seminars are included in the price of admission! Here are a few choice picks...

Saturday, 4:30pm And They Will Touch You: Physical Contact Guidelines Within Immersive Theater Instructor Josh Randall (Blackout) shows how to safely incorporate touch into your attraction.

Saturday, 1:30pm Evil Arrangements: Creating Halloween Flower Designs Learn how to add gruesome, but gorgeous, touches to your Halloween party.

Sunday, 12pm Spirit Board Seminar with the Mystic Museum This class will focus on learning how to receive messages from the other side using the board, the history of Spirit Boards, collecting and what they represent in today’s pop culture.

Sunday, 1:30pm Split Personalities: Finding Your Career in the Theme Park and Haunt Industries Industry vets share their inside knowledge on how to break into these fields, and what do you do once you get in to turn a job into a career.

Some of our vendors have hands on workshops with additional material fees, most that allow you to leave with a new prop in hand! Be sure to reserve and pay for these in advance as they do sell out.

Celebrity make-up artist Kyle Vest (Skin Wars) will have one deep dive class each day, on airbrush techniques and prosthetics. Both classes start before the showfloor opens, offering the extra perk of skipping the line onto the showfloor! Early registration highly recommended!

SoCal Valley Haunters is back with another slate of popular make and take classes, where you'll learn how to make a prop or effect, and walk away with your creation! This year's classes include tombstone, flicker boxes, and creepy lamps. Register here to pay for materials and reserve your spot!
