Sea world has recently unveiled 3 new featured attractions to it's San Diego theme park. This is an unprecedented back to back unveiling and will give returning visitors a new experience on many levels. We we're honored to be invited to the opening of the Ocean Explorers section of the park and attend the new Orca Encounter show. We look forward to returning and checking out the amazing Electric Ocean night time celebration
The biggest and most notable addition to the park is the Ocean Explorer area. It features kid friendly rides, interactive aquariums and game zone. It's great for the young ones and there's a lot to explore and do.
Wouldn't be Sea World without the Orcas! They've changed up the show and it now features a huge infinity screen which can be seen in the picture above displaying the stats of the killer whale. There is less human interaction with the whales and they no longer do the "tricks" they previously performed. What you get now is an interactive and educational experience that leaves you with a sense of awe and appreciation for the animals.
Food and drink at the park are great! A lot of refreshment and snack stands around the park and they also serve beer!
Explorer's Reef is by far one of the funnest parts of Sea World. It's like a petting zoo but with water creatures. The interactive pools feature horseshoe crabs, reef sharks and cleaner fish.
