CALIFORNIA FOCUS / IE's Own Audio Push Headlines 3rd Annual Alive & Kickin Music Festival on
Festival showcases and celebrates Inland Empire hip-hop talent, keeps local and live music thriving
WHAT:
Blue Chips, Over Everything & LFTD is proud to announce the third installment of the Alive & Kickin
Music Festival.
WHERE & WHEN:
The event takes place at the National Orange Show Sports Event Center (Gate 10) in San Bernardino
California on Saturday, April 7.
WHY:
Alive & Kickin was started in 2016 by San Bernardino hip-hop artist Cam Archer as a way to showcase
independent hip-hop talent in the Inland Empire and beyond. The festival also celebrates the IE’s rich
musical legacy, and aims to foster and inspire the community’s creative scene for future generations of
artists.
This will be the festival’s third consecutive year. At a time when the IE has sadly witnessed the doors
close on beloved venues such as The Vibe and Clash City Station, Alive & Kickin has found a home at
the National Orange Show to help keep the IE’s love for local and live music thriving.
WHO:
IE born and raised hip-hop duo Audio Push will headline the event. Midway through their own headlining
tour, the group also just released their new album, “Cloud 909.” The group is thrilled to take the stage in
the IE where it all began.
Kidd Dryden, best known for his chart-topping album “Forbidden Fruit,” has a new album on the way
entitled “Growth.” This will be his first performance since 2017, and fans are eagerly awaiting his return.
Cam Archer will also perform alongside his band, The Midnight Society, putting a rock twist on Archer’s
own hip-hop talent. Archer is still riding the wave of his late 2017 release “SPIRITGUNNER,” which
features “Amapola,” named for one of the IE’s favorite restaurants. His performance promises fans a taste of what is to come in 2018.
OTHER CONFIRMED PERFORMERS: DOPECAL, Jay Kasai, Kayo The God, Faja The Poet, Beezy,
Sincere, RNB, Rawyal-T, Caleb Lombard, The Brown Mambas, Esco & Prod-OG. More acts are expected
to be announced as the festival approaches.
