ZOË’s music evokes praise from both fans and music critics.
“Drinking from the well of Brit Pop, they have fashioned a mix of faux-naif tunes, irony-laced lyrics, and richly textured music sometimes sounding like a movie score, that makes them a distinctive voice on the Latin America music scene, winning a Best Song Latin Grammy for “Labios Rotos” and Best Alternative Album for “Música de Fondo.” (Variety 2017)
ZOË’s musical influences are eclectic and classic.
"I think we all started with The Beatles, Donovan, Bob Dylan, classical music. And then in the ’80s and ’90s we heard a lot of English music like The Cure and Pink Floyd and Talking Heads." L.A. Times ( 2012)
ZOË has performed at the most important festivals and stages around the world such as: Foro Sol in Mexico City, Vive Latino (Mexico City), Lollapalooza (Argentina & Chile), Estrereo Picnic (Colombia), Rock in Rio (Spain), Austin City Limits (USA), Village Underground (UK), Pepsi Music Fest (Argentina) & Coachella (USA).
Their 2011-2014 tour was witnessed by 2.5 million people . Their last tour included 100 concerts with 40,000 people attending their closing night at Foro Sol ( Mexico City).
